Il nuovo spot globale di Pepsi inscena una manifestazione pacifica e creativa di giovani contro lo status quo. A ripetere una delle immagini più famose della contestazione c’è Kendall Jenner, sulle note di Lions di Skip Marley, ma a poche ore dal lancio già fioccano gli sfottò e le parodie oltre alle accuse di speculare sulla campagna ‘Black Lives Matter’.
La creatività è dell’agenzia interna, Creators League Studio.
(aggiornamento: in serata Pepsi ha eliminato il film dalla rete, con tante scuse. “Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are removing the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.”)
